Companies House will soon require Company directors to verify their identity to file confirmation statements.
The new verification process will roll out between November 2025 and Autumn 2026, affecting:
- All Company directors
- People with significant control, and
- Anyone filing on behalf of a company.
What this means:
- You need to prove who you are to set up, run, own or control a company in the UK.
- New appointments will be required to verify their identity from November 2025
- Existing directors will have until Autumn 2026 to complete their verification.
- We will not be able to file annual confirmation statements on your behalf until you have completed the verification process.
Once you complete the process, you will receive a personal code from Companies House. Please send this code to legal@sienna-buffalo-255343.hostingersite.com so that we can continue to file on your behalf.
